The fact is that life is in most cases a sort of tragedy . doubtlessly , wishes are sweet desires that one longs to realize . therefore , one makes tireless efforts for this purpose. One starts an undertaking hoping one will achieve success. The nearer he comes to the end , the more hopeful he gets. He keeps looking ahead hoping that the ambition dwelling in his heart will be realized or about to be realized . he even sees success just at hand. All of a sudden , a cloud appears on the horizon and strong wind blows, deviating the ship from her usual route. Then one realized that all one's calculations have been turned upside down. If we look more closely, we find that we, have done nothing to upset the undertaken we've been endeavoring to achieve.

Let me give you an example . last year I worked hard day and night to get a qualifying grade for majoring in medicine . when the results were out , I saw I had fallen one mark short of my major . of course , I got frustrated . I thought of quitting school.

Old man : certainly, there's a force that engineers our future activities, hopes, dreams and ambitions . in fact, any attempt to resist this force will inevitably fail. Listen , good guy despite all my years of experience, I haven't been able to understand how our future is engineered . in actuality, we don't know when such a force starts influencing our acts causing them to deviate from the planned route . after intensive thinking , I came to the conclusion that God will surely accomplish His purpose .
